You can get accommodation, catering, facilities for different purposes, sauna services, and a bridal suite all from the same service provider and even in two different localities. We also offer you the opportunity to rent a camper van if you wish to get to know the rest of Finland with, for instance, your family.

Our versatile accommodation house with its large farmhouse kitchen is also an affordable choice for those who travel for work. Paija’s farm has plenty of room to relax after a grueling day of work.

Paija’s services also include catering, so it is possible for you to order the local food delicacies we prepare in our own kitchen for your own events.

PARTIES AND MEETINGS

Juhla-areena

Juhla-Areena is the largest building at Paija’s farm. It is a perfect place for having a wedding reception or birthday party, as well as many other types of events. There is also plenty of room and facilities for even a larger number of guests, and the banquet tables are always set with hearty, locally-produced food and good coffee.

ACCOMMODATION

Stay in the countryside

Cosy Gasthaus-style accommodation also for larger groups or those who travel for work. The house has space for cooking and relaxing. The five bedrooms and the common toilet/shower facilities create a sense of community. The house can be booked in both the summer and the winter.

Feel the freedom! Book a dream holiday on wheels. Rent a fairly new camper van, in which a family or group of four can travel and sleep comfortably. In order to drive the van, you must have a class B driver’s license and be at least 21 years old.

Enjoy yourself in the countryside

The sauna is an essential part of the farmhouse milieu, and particularly children get excited about the pool. The arched Menninkäisen Savusauna smoke sauna, which is built underground, has become the favorite of groups.

Next to the smoke sauna and under three arches lies the Menninkäisen Takkatupa fireplace room, which is an ideal place, for instance, for a get-together or meeting. The farmer and his wife are also happy to help you find nice things to do in the surrounding area. For instance, horse riding and golf are activities offered in the nearby area.

Paijan Maatilamajoitus farm accommodation is located in Ypäjä, in the peace and quiet of the countryside. The large yard at Paija’s farm is perfect for having a summer wedding or a birthday party, but of course the space and the setting also please those who are just on a nice summer trip. Children, as well, like spending time at Paija’s farm, where there is room to run around safely.

Hannu and Päivi Paija, the host couple, run the Paijan Maatilamajoitus farm accommodation together and sometimes with their two children. They have owned the farm since 1994, when they bought it from the bank.Originally, the farm was used for growing pigs and cultivating grain, but due to EU-related changes, the farm became a grain farm focused on tourism. Now, the accommodation services offering 12 beds have been expanded into the provision of accommodation, banqueting, and unique sauna services. The current accommodation capacity at the farm is approximately 30 beds, and up to 220 persons can attend a party in a single, unified space. The sauna bench in the Menninkäisen Savusauna smoke sauna accommodates up to 30 persons in two turns.griculture plays a significant role at the farm in the cultivation of the farm’s own grain crops and the farmer’s work. Finnishness and the products of the farm’s own fields have been held in a high regard ever since the farmer couple established their business.
